Select models can choose to go with a turbo 2.0L four-cylinder instead, which increases the output to 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. There is also a V6 option, which gives the Cherokee 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque.
A nine-speed automatic transmission comes standard for the 2022 Cherokee. If you choose the Cherokee X or Trailhawk model, your Jeep SUV comes with all-terrain tires and four-wheel drive. The Trailhawk also has an underbody skid plate and off-road-oriented suspension.
